Juan de Dios Yáñez Ávila

• Industrial Engineer with specialization in Organization and Industrial Production, from the Higher Technical School of Engineering at the University of Seville.
• Specialist in digital transformation for the agri-food and forestry sectors, from the Higher Technical School of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering at the University of Cordoba.
• Professional RPAS pilot, certified in A1/A2, A3, and STS-ES-01 and STS-ES-02 by the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency, AESA.

From January 2025 to July 2026 I was part of the CitriData Project at the University of Cordoba, where I provided technical advisory and project monitoring support, as well as assistance in data analysis and AI model implementation.

Previously, I worked on the European OCONTSOLAR Project, a European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant and one of the most important projects in Europe in Model Predictive Control and drone swarms, together with Eduardo Fernandez Camacho. Between 2019 and 2024 I worked as a researcher and development engineer, designing and manufacturing multiple aerial systems, IoT sensors, and autonomous systems for solar tracking, coordinated flight, and long-distance communication between robotic entities.

Throughout my university years, I developed the Onwards and Waredrone brands and carried out multiple freelance assignments involving prototype development, CAD, electronics, and websites.
