Robotic hand prosthesis

This hand was developed to motivate students in the field of technology. It started from an online design that was modified to integrate electronics capable of reading muscle impulses and actuating the hand. It is a simple model that could be interesting to improve further in the future.

It basically consists of a system of servo motors driven by muscle sensors acting as electrodes. The tendons are simulated by a set of strings with springs, which help prevent the 3D-printed structure from being damaged by the forces generated by the mechanism's motors.
