Robotic hand prosthesis
This hand was created to motivate some students in the field of technology. It started from an internet design that was modified to integrate electronics capable of reading muscle impulses to operate the hand. It is a very simple model that may be interesting to improve in the future.
Basically, it consists of a system of servo motors operated by muscle sensors acting as electrodes. The tendons are simulated by a series of strings with some springs, the latter preventing the 3D printed structure from being damaged by the force that the mechanism's motors can generate.
